A new step.

With the new year comes lots of new changes and for me one of them has been finally taking the plunge and setting up a website. A website can mean a lot of different things, to some it is just a collection of pages of information on the internet about a particular subject or business but to me it is the next big step in furthering my own business and becoming a successful self-employed Reflexologist.

Like this little Puffin, a website is a big step for me.

I have been a Reflexologist now for over 6 years and I am loving my job. It has been a dream of mine to be a Reflexologist for years now, and in what feels like a previous life I was once a full time secondary school science teacher. Yet, it has only been a year since I finally took the plunge to become a full time Reflexologist and leave a stable payslip and the security that comes from a job in which I'd spent over a decade in.

And what a year it has been. I have met so many wonderful new clients and dare I say friends, together we have managed to reduce their symptoms of illness and stress and move forward towards fulfilling their goals of health and well-being.

My website represents my next step in branching out and furthering my Reflexology business, and I am so excited to be finally sharing it with you all.

For a while now I have wanted one and known that it is the next step in making my business successful and spreading the benefits of Reflexology to even more people, but it has been something that I have continued to put off. I am the first to admit that I am not someone whom you'd describe as ‘tech-savvy’ and the process of designing and creating a website has always daunted me in my inability to understand the mysteries of the world wide web.

It has taken a realisation that my skills lay firmly elsewhere, and that seeking help from others is fine. Similarly clients seek me out to help them feel 100% and ‘get their mojo back.’

Perhaps we all put some things off that we know we should do or start doing, whether that’s taking the next step in our profession, or making an effort to starting to look after ourselves, our health and our mental well-being. We push tasks back because of fear, a lack of time or even over exaggerating the problem in our minds, but a problem shared is a problem halved. So let this be the year that you finally take up the courage to make all the changes that you want to see and allow me to help you to achieve your health and well-being goals for this year and the future.
